Why We Need A Strong SoCon As VP

McCain is very weak in his defense of Marriage…
“John McCain supports the right of the people of California to recognize marriage as a unique institution sanctioning the union between a man and a woman, just as he did in his home state of Arizona. John McCain doesn’t believe judges should be making these decisions.”
Give me Huck or Pawlenty as VP and I’ll get stoked…

I would have to agree with you, Rett. I personally do not believe John McCain has a chance in November, as it stands right now. The very people who can win this election for him will either stay away from the polls or cast their vote for a third party candidate, if he doesn’t choose the right VP. Personally, I believe Mike Huckabee would be a great choice, but I am also afraid of what it might do to Huckabee’s reputation to be on the ticket with John McCain. Kind of like being caught between a rock and a hard place.
