“After a pro-life organization at UCLA staged phone calls to
Planned Parenthood (PPFA) offering financial gifts to fund
abortions for black babies, Americans were outraged at
PPFA’s willingness to accept racially targeted donations.
Days later, Planned Parenthood Idaho CEO Rebecca Poedy apologized
for accepting the racially motivated donations saying “PPFA firmly
and unequivocally denounces racial bias in the delivery of
health care”.
However, the following day Poedy backtracked on her apology saying,
the calls were “manipulated”, and threatened to sue “extremist,
anti-choice groups”.
Congressman moves to de-fund Planned Parenthood
While PPFA continues its attempt to cover up its pro-abortion,
racist philosophy, Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN) is proposing an
amendment prohibiting federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
This amendment echoes the “Mexico City Policy” which prohibits
federal funding for family planning programs to foreign cities
which perform or promote abortions.
Pence believes it is hypocritical and morally wrong
to use American taxpayer dollars to support domestic organizations
which do the same such as Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion
provider which receives over $300 million in taxpayer dollars
every year!”
